Νέο Λογότυπο της Πρεσβείας της Ιαπωνίας στην Ελλάδα

Η Πρεσβεία της Ιαπωνίας στην Ελλάδα παρουσιάζει το νέο επίσημο λογότυπό της, το οποίο θα αποτελεί πλέον το πρωτεύον οπτικό σύμβολο της παρουσίας και των δράσεων της στη χώρα.
Το νέο λογότυπο απεικονίζει το φυτό Paulownia (Kiri) μέσα σε κυκλικό έμβλημα, περιμετρικά του οποίου αναγράφεται η επωνυμία και το τοπωνύμιο («Embassy of Japan Athens, Greece»). Το σχέδιο περιλαμβάνει τρεις κατακόρυφες ταξιανθίες τοποθετημένες πάνω από τρία μεγάλα, συμμετρικά φύλλα Paulownia, σύμφωνα με την παραδοσιακή διάταξη του εμβλήματος «Go‑Shichi no Kiri» (五七桐).
Το ιστορικό έμβλημα «Go‑Shichi no Kiri» αρχικά χρησιμοποιήθηκε ως το οικόσημο του Οίκου των Toyotomi, προτού αργότερα καθιερωθεί ευρέως ως κρατικό σύμβολο της Ιαπωνίας. Η ιστορική αυτή σύνδεση αποκτά φέτος ιδιαίτερη σημασία, ενόψει της συμμετοχής της Πρεσβείας στη Διεθνή Έκθεση Θεσσαλονίκης 2026, η οποία διαπνέεται από την ιαπωνική φιλοσοφία «Takumi» όπου αναδεικνύεται η δεξιοτεχνία, η ακρίβεια και η αριστεία στις τέχνες και την καινοτομία.
Με την υιοθέτηση του συγκεκριμένου εμβλήματος, η Πρεσβεία ενισχύει τη συνοχή της θεσμικής παρουσίας της Ιαπωνίας στο εξωτερικό και εναρμονίζει πλήρως την οπτική της ταυτότητα με αυτήν των λοιπών ιαπωνικών διπλωματικών αποστολών.
Η εφαρμογή του νέου λογότυπου θα γίνει σταδιακά σε όλες τις επίσημες πλατφόρμες, τα έγγραφα και τα μέσα επικοινωνίας της Πρεσβείας.
New Logo of the Embassy of Japan in Greece
The Embassy of Japan in Greece is pleased to introduce its new official logo, which will serve as the primary visual symbol of the Embassy’s presence and activities in the country.
The new logo features a representation of the Paulownia (Kiri) plant set within a circular emblem, inside which appears the inscription “Embassy of Japan Athens, Greece”. The design includes three upright floral clusters positioned above three large, symmetrical Paulownia leaves, following the traditional composition of the emblem known as “Go‑Shichi no Kiri” (五七桐).
The “Go‑Shichi no Kiri” emblem has historical roots and was used as the crest of the Toyotomi clan, before later becoming widely established as a state symbol of Japan. This historical link carries particular relevance this year, as the Embassy prepares for its participation in the Thessaloniki International Fair 2026 (TIF 2026), whose central theme, “Takumi,” highlights the Japanese philosophy of mastery, precision, and excellence in craft and innovation.
By adopting this emblem, the Embassy strengthens the coherence of Japan’s institutional presence abroad and ensures full alignment with the visual identity used by other Japanese diplomatic missions.
The transition to the new logo will be implemented progressively across all official platforms, documents, and communications of the Embassy.
