Τελετή Υπογραφής Μνημονίου Συνεργασίας μεταξύ της Πρεσβείας της Ιαπωνίας και της M/Maritime στο πλαίσιο της Διεθνούς Έκθεσης Θεσσαλονίκης 2026
Την Πέμπτη 14 Μαΐου, ο Πρέσβης της Ιαπωνίας στην Ελλάδα, κ. ITO Koichi και ο ιδρυτής της M/Maritime, κ. Ιωάννης Μυτιληναίος, υπέγραψαν Μνημόνιο Συνεργασίας ενόψει της Διεθνούς Έκθεσης Θεσσαλονίκης 2026, σε τελετή που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Πρεσβεία της Ιαπωνίας, παρουσία του Υφυπουργού Εξωτερικών της Ελλάδας, κ. Χάρη Θεοχάρη, ως επίτιμου καλεσμένου.
Η Ιαπωνία θα συμμετάσχει ως Τιμώμενη Χώρα στην 90ή Διεθνή Έκθεση Θεσσαλονίκης το 2026, χρονιά που συμπίπτει με την επέτειο 100 χρόνων από την ίδρυση του θεσμού. Η έκθεση θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 5 έως τις 13 Σεπτεμβρίου στο Διεθνές Εκθεσιακό και Συνεδριακό Κέντρο Θεσσαλονίκης (HELEXPO). Η Πρεσβεία της Ιαπωνίας στην Ελλάδα έχει αναλάβει τον συντονισμό, την εκπροσώπηση και την υλοποίηση όλων των απαραίτητων ενεργειών για την εθνική συμμετοχή της χώρας στην έκθεση.
Η ναυτιλιακή εταιρεία M/Maritime συμμετέχει στη Διεθνή έκθεση Θεσσαλονίκης 2026 ως Πλατινένιος Χορηγός του Ιαπωνικού Περιπτέρου, στο πλαίσιο συνεργασίας με την Πρεσβεία της Ιαπωνίας στην Ελλάδα, με στόχο την ανάδειξη των ισχυρών ναυτιλιακών δεσμών και των κοινών αξιών που συνδέουν την Ιαπωνία και την Ελλάδα.
Ο κ. Μυτιληναίος έχει τιμηθεί με τον Έπαινο του Υπουργού Εξωτερικών της Ιαπωνίας για το έτος 2022, σε αναγνώριση της σημαντικής συμβολής του στην προώθηση της αμοιβαίας κατανόησης και των σχέσεων μεταξύ Ιαπωνίας και Ελλάδας.
Επίσημος Χορηγός Επικοινωνίας της συμμετοχής της Ιαπωνίας στη Διεθνή Έκθεση Θεσσαλονίκης 2026 και όλων των συναφών δράσεων είναι η ΕΡΤ.
Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Embassy of Japan in Greece and M/Maritime within the framework of the Thessaloniki International Fair 2026
On Thursday, May 14, Ambassador of Japan to Greece, Mr. ITO Koichi, and the founder of M/Maritime, Mr. John G. Mytilineos, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the framework of Thessaloniki International Fair 2026, during a ceremony held at the Embassy of Japan in Greece in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Mr. Haris Theocharis, who attended as the guest of honour.
Japan will participate as the Honoured Country at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair in 2026, a milestone year marking the 100th anniversary of the institution. The exhibition will take place from September 5 to 13 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Conference Center (HELEXPO). The Embassy of Japan in Greece has undertaken the coordination, representation, and implementation of all necessary actions related to Japan’s national participation in the exhibition.
M/Maritime will participate in Thessaloniki International Fair 2026 as the Platinum Sponsor of the Japanese Pavilion, within the framework of its cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Greece, to celebrate the deep maritime connection and shared values that unite Japan and Greece.
Mr. Mytilineos was awarded the Commendation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan in 2022, in recognition of his significant contribution to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening relations between Japan and Greece.
ERT will serve as the Official Communication Sponsor of Japan’s participation in the 2026 Thessaloniki International Fair and all related activities.
