Την Παρασκευή 17 Δεκεμβρίου, ο Αναπληρωτής Επικεφαλής της Πρεσβείας της Ιαπωνίας κ. Aramaki παρευρέθηκε στην παρουσίαση του επετειακού ημερολογίου με θέμα «100 χρόνια από τη Μικρασιατική Καταστροφή» που εξέδωσε η Ένωση Ποντίων Ν. Σμύρνης-Αγίου Δημητρίου-Παλαιού Φαλήρου "Η Μαύρη Θάλασσα".
Την εκδήλωση που έγινε σε συνεργασία με τον Δήμο Π. Φαλήρου, χαιρέτησε ο Δήμαρχος κ. Γιάννης Φωστηρόπουλος, ενώ η Πρόεδρος της Ένωσης κ. Ράνια Χρυσοχοΐδου έκανε την παρουσίαση του ημερολογίου-λευκώματος. Στους μήνες Οκτώβριο και Νοέμβριο, όπως απεικονίζονται στο ημερολόγιο, γίνεται αναφορά στο ιαπωνικό πλοίο ‘Tokei Maru’ που διέσωσε Έλληνες πρόσφυγες κατά τη Μικρασιατική Καταστροφή. Για το γεγονός αυτό, ο Αναπληρωτής Επικεφαλής της Πρεσβείας της Ιαπωνίας κ. Aramaki έλαβε αναμνηστικό έπαινο. Στη συνέχεια ακολούθησαν μουσικά δρώμενα με παραδοσιακή μουσική και χορούς από την περιοχή του Πόντου και η εκδήλωση ολοκληρώθηκε με επιτυχία.
Attendance of the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Japan, Mr. Taku Aramaki at an event for the publication of an anniversary calendar in commemoration of the 100 years since the Asia Minor Catastrophe
On Friday, December 17, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Japan, Mr. Aramaki attended the presentation of the Commemorative Calendar "100 years since the Asia Minor Catastrophe," published by the Association of Pontians of N. Smyrni-Agios Dimitrios-P. Faliro ‘The Black Sea’.
The event that took place in collaboration with the Municipality of P. Faliro, was greeted by the Mayor of P. Faliro, Mr. Giannis Fostiropoulos, while the President of the Association, Ms. Rania Chrysochoidou presented the commemorative calendar- historical album. In the months October and November of the calendar, reference is made to the Japanese ship ‘Tokei Maru’ that rescued Greek refugees during the Asia Minor Catastrophe. Due to this important historical incident, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Japan, Mr. Aramaki received a commemorative commendation. The event ended successfully with traditional music and dances from the Pontus region.
