Short-term stay (Spouse of Japanese national visiting a relative)

   
A spouse of a Japanese national visiting a relative for a short-term stay (less than 90 days) is required to submit the documents for a visa application listed below:

Spouses whose nationality is from countries or regions NOT listed on the Visa Exemption List , are kindly asked to call the JAPAN VISA INFORMATION HOTLINE (＋30) 215-7779826, for details on the required documents.

1. Valid Passport
2. Visa application form (filled through)
3. One photo　(45mm x 35mm)
4. Resident permit issued by Greek Government (※non-Greek nationals only)
5. Certified copy of the Japanese Family Register（戸籍謄本 or 戸籍抄本）, stating the marriage with the foreign national spouse OR Marriage Certificate issued by the Greek government (issued within 3 months)
6. Copy of the passport of the Japanese spouse (1 page with face photo)

(If apply for a multiple-entry Short-term VISA)
7. Proving document for the reason to issue a multi entry VISA.

 
 Remarks:
-As of 7th Sep. 2022 nationals on the LIST HERE can apply for a Multiple-entry Short-term VISA as a spouse or child of a Japanese national, which will be valid for one year.

-The list of required documents for a spouse of Japanese national may be revised depending on changes to the Japanese border measures.
-Additional documents may be required during the examination of the application in some cases.
