We are currently seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Political and Economic Section Local Staff. 1. Position description - Position: Political and Economic Clerk - Place of work: 46, Ethnikis Antistaseos Street, Halandri - Date of contract: 2nd of December 2024 - Pay Scale: Between 1700€ and 2200€ (Determined by Embassy’s criteria) - Period : Unlimited contract with one year probation period - Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. * Must be able to work after the working hours and on holidays if required. - Holiday: Sunday and all Greek (including some Japanese till the completion of annual quota) national holidays. Annual leave is granted in accordance with the Embassy’s regulation and Greek Law. |
2. Qualification - Qualification: Academic ability equivalent or higher to a university degree. - Language: Excellent command of Greek and English at the level of native speaker. Japanese proficiency is appreciated but not necessary. - Skills: The following skills are greatly appreciated. a. Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) b. Knowledge of Greek and international affairs especially economics. c. Accustomed to protocol procedures in the diplomatic world is preferred. d. Versed on society issues e. Minimum 3 years previous work experience - Nationality: Greek national or holder of valid work permits in Greece. * Male applicants must have completed military service. - Other: a. Positive attitude and high incentive towards work b. Personal communication skill with team work spirit c. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously d. Show professionalism and integrity towards work with no prejudice towards persons and international situations |
3. Job Description - Clerical work - Communication with external organizations (governmental and private) - Submitting reports - Informing on current affairs - Translations - Arrangement of meetings and appointments - File updating and keeping - Drafting of documents - Other assignments as requested by the Embassy |
4.
