Η Πρεσβεία της Ιαπωνίας στην Ελλάδα και το Ελληνικό Ίδρυμα Ευρωπαϊκής και Εξωτερικής Πολιτικής (ΕΛΙΑΜΕΠ), συνδιοργάνωσαν ένα υβριδικό σεμινάριο με τίτλο: “Safety of Navigation From the Eastern Mediterranean Sea to the Indo-Pacific: Challenges and Cooperation between Japan and Greece” που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 23 Μαρτίου, στο Ίδρυμα Β. & Μ. Θεοχαράκη.
Κατά τη διάρκεια του σεμιναρίου, Έλληνες και Ιάπωνες ειδικοί ανέλυσαν και συζήτησαν τις τελευταίες εξελίξεις στις περιοχές από την Ανατολική Μεσόγειο έως τον Ινδο-Ειρηνικό. Επιπλέον, αντάλλαξαν απόψεις για την «ασφάλεια της ναυσιπλοΐας» στις θάλασσες αυτές και πρότειναν λύσεις για την πιθανή συνεργασία μεταξύ των δύο χωρών για τη διατήρηση και τη διαφύλαξη της ελευθερίας και ασφάλειας της ναυσιπλοΐας.

Results of the hybrid seminar: “Safety of Navigation From the Eastern Mediterranean Sea to the Indo-Pacific: Challenges and Cooperation between Japan and Greece”
The Embassy of Japan in Greece and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), co-organized a hybrid seminar entitled: "Safety of Navigation From the Eastern Mediterranean Sea to the Indo-Pacific: Challenges and Cooperation between Japan and Greece” held on March 23, at the V. & M. Theocharakis Foundation.
During the seminar, Greek and Japanese experts analysed and discussed the latest developments in the areas from the Eastern Mediterranean to the Indo-Pacific. In addition, they exchanged views on the "safety of navigation" in those seas and proposed possible cooperation between the two countries in maintaining and safeguarding the freedom and safety of navigation.
