Στις 3 Νοεμβρίου, το Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών της Ιαπωνίας ανακοίνωσε τα ονόματα 119 πολιτών ξένων κρατών στους οποίους απονέμεται το παράσημο του Αυτοκράτορα της Ιαπωνίας για το Φθινόπωρο του 2022.
Στην Ελλάδα τιμάται ο κ. Λουκάς Τσούκαλης, Πρόεδρος Δ.Σ. ΕΛΙΑΜΕΠ, Καθηγητής, Sciences Po, Παρίσι, Ομότιμος Καθηγητής Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, με το Παράσημο του Τάγματος του Ανατέλλοντος Ηλίου, Χρυσών Ακτινών μετά Ταινίας (Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon), για την πολύτιμη συνεισφορά του στην προαγωγή των ακαδημαϊκών ανταλλαγών και των σχέσεων Ιαπωνίας και Ελλάδας.

Announcement of 2022 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals
On November 3, The Government of Japan has decided to confer decorations on 119 foreign nationals.
In Greece, Professor Loukas Tsoukalis, President of the Board at ELIAMEP, Professor at Sciences Po Paris, Professor Emeritus at University of Athens, is honoured with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon, for his valuable contribution to the promotion of academic exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and Greece.
