Επίσκεψη του Πρέσβη κ. Nakayama στο χώρο των γυρισμάτων της ταινίας «Σμύρνη Μου Αγαπημένη» και συνάντηση με την κ. Μιμή Ντενίση(Gr/Eng)

Την Τρίτη 10 Αυγούστου, ο Πρέσβης κ. Nakayama, συνοδευόμενος από τη Διευθύντρια Εταιρικής Επικοινωνίας της M/ Maritime- Χορηγού της ταινίας «Σμύρνη Μου Αγαπημένη», κ. Ελίζα Γερούκη, επισκέφθηκε το χώρο των γυρισμάτων της ταινίας και συναντήθηκε με την κ. Μιμή Ντενίση, πρωταγωνίστρια και σεναριογράφο. Η ταινία αποτίνει φόρο τιμής στα 100 χρόνια από την Καταστροφή της Σμύρνης, και είναι μια παραγωγή της Tanweer Productions.
Κατά τη συνάντηση, η κ. Ντενίση ξενάγησε τον Πρέσβη στον σκηνικό χώρο όπου πραγματοποιούνται αυτή τη στιγμή τα γυρίσματα και εξέφρασε τις σκέψεις της σχετικά με αυτό το κινηματογραφικό έργο. Ο Πρέσβης κ. Nakayama ευχήθηκε να ολοκληρωθούν τα γυρίσματα με κάθε επιτυχία, ενώ αναφέρθηκε και σε ένα ιστορικό γεγονός της εποχής, σύμφωνα με το οποίο το ιαπωνικό πλοίο "Tokeimaru" που έπλεε ανοικτά της θάλασσας της Σμύρνης, διέσωσε Έλληνες κατά το Διωγμό τους από τη Μικρά Ασία και την καταστροφή της Σμύρνης.
Στη συνέχεια, οι δύο πλευρές αντάλλαξαν απόψεις σχετικά με τη δυνατότητα συνεργασίας την επόμενη χρονιά, καθώς το έτος 2022 σηματοδοτεί την 100η επέτειο της ηρωικής πράξης του "Tokeimaru", που αποτελεί ορόσημο για τους δεσμούς φιλίας μεταξύ Ιαπωνίας και Ελλάδας.

Visit of Mr. Ambassador Nakayama to the shooting location of the movie "My Beloved Smyrna" and meeting with Mrs. Mimi Denissi
On Tuesday, August 10, H.E. Mr. Ambassador Nakayama Yasunori, accompanied by the Communications Corporate Manager of M/ MARITIME- sponsor of the film "My Beloved Smyrna", Mrs. Elisa Gerouki, visited the film shooting location and met with Mrs. Mimi Denissi, protagonist and screenwriter. The film, produced by Tanweer Productions, aims to pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Smyrna Catastrophe.
During the meeting, Mrs. Mimi Denissi gave a tour of the set where the filming is currently taking place to the Ambassador and expressed her thoughts on the film. Ambassador Nakayama wished every success with the shootings and referred to a historic event of the time, where the Japanese ship "Tokeimaru", which was off the coast of Smyrna during the Asia Minor Catastrophe, rescued Greek refugees during their persecution from Smyrna.
The two sides then exchanged views on the possibility of cooperation next year, as the year 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the "Tokeimaru" event, which is a milestone in the friendship ties between Japan and Greece.
