Στις 10 Μαΐου, ο Πρέσβης Nakayama πραγματοποίησε εθιμοτυπική επίσκεψη στον Υπουργό Μετανάστευσης και Ασύλου, κ. Νότη Μηταράκη.
Στη συνάντηση συζήτησαν για τις μεταναστευτικές και προσφυγικές πολιτικές της Ελλάδας και της Ιαπωνίας και συμμερίστηκαν την άποψη ότι απαιτούνται περαιτέρω διεθνείς συζητήσεις για θέματα μετανάστευσης και προσφύγων. Αντάλλαξαν επίσης απόψεις για την ανάγκη περαιτέρω υποστήριξης στους Ουκρανούς πρόσφυγες.

On May 10, Ambassador Nakayama paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Migration and Asylum, Mr. Notis Mitarachi.
At the meeting, they discussed immigration and refugee policies of Greece and Japan, and shared the view that further international discussions on immigration and refugee issues are necessary. They also exchanged views on the need for further support to Ukrainian refugees.
