Prime Minister Mori's visit to Greece |

Prime Minister Mori visited Greece,
from 13th to 14th of January 2001.
He is the first Japanese Prime Minister in office who visited Greece since the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Japan and Greece in 1899. Prime Minister Mori had a fruitful meeting with Prime Minister Simitis on 13th, and the press statements were pronounced by the two Prime Ministers after the meeting. Prime Minister Mori laid a wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldiers on 14th of January. ![]() [Cabinet Public Relations Office]
